Cookie policy

What we set. What we don't. What you can switch off.

Last updated · 30 May 2026

This page explains which cookies and local-storage keys Preemptify AI uses, and how you can control them. It supplements our Privacy Notice.

1. Strictly necessary (always on)

  • preemptify_token — your encrypted session token. Required for the sandbox to recognise you after login.
  • preemptify_role — your role claim (executive_demo / compliance_admin). Required for RBAC routing.
  • preemptify_consent_v1 (localStorage) — records your cookie-banner choices.
  • preemptify_country (localStorage) — your selected jurisdiction so the UI rebinds to the local currency and regulator.

These cannot be disabled because the sandbox cannot function without them. They expire at the end of your session or 8 hours, whichever is sooner.

2. Analytics (opt-in)

If — and only if — you enable analytics in the consent banner, we record anonymous, aggregated page-view counts. Your IP is truncated to /24 within 24 hours and never linked to identity. We currently use a self-hosted analytics endpoint inside our perimeter; no third-party trackers are loaded.

3. Marketing

We currently set zero marketing cookies. The marketing toggle in the banner is reserved for future opt-in only — if we ever add such cookies, we will request fresh consent first.

4. Changing or withdrawing consent

Click the cookie icon in the bottom-left of any marketing page, or clear your browser's localStorage for the preemptify_consent_v1 key. Your choice takes effect immediately.

5. Browser controls

You may also block cookies in your browser settings. Doing so may impair the sandbox (you will not be able to stay logged in).
